Automated Enrollment for macOS

Enrolling a Mac as an end user when the device is eligible for Automated Enrollment is quite simple: just activate the endpoint and pass usual wizard screen to pick your region and accessibility needs and you will be prompted to enroll your device.

Your device will require an Internet access to pass the initial setup, on brand new devices, the WiFi is not mandatory, please be sure to connect your Mac to WiFi or Ethernet network with Internet access to pass the enrollment. Failing to do so will require to erase and reinstall your device.

A new screen in the setup assistant will inform you that your device is owned by your organization and need to be enrolled in your device management solution, Bravas.

To do so, the system will ask you for a Bravas activation code that will uniquely tile your device to your corporate identity.

This activation code needs to be generated by your organization before the deployment.

Once the activation code is entered, the setup process will continue with some personal settings such as passcode, location services, and biometrics.

The location service is for the end user only, it does not allow the organization to track the users via Bravas. The same goes for biometrics on Apple devices: that information never leave your device and cannot be accessed by Apple, Bravas nor your organization.

Once you reach the desktop of your Mac, you will see the Bravas launcher next to the bin in the Dock as well as native apps already installing.
