Bravas's vision

Bravas is an all-in-one management solution built to provide both identity and device management capabilities, features usually found in autonomous products like an IDP or an MDM. At Bravas, we consider that we cannot manage an information system safely without managing both at the same time. This assumption is uncommon today and did require some work from us to make both features fit in an easy and efficient way in a single product.

Another uncommon assumption made by Bravas is that the future is multi-OS. It has been widely proven that the choice of the workstation per user preference and task needs is the way to go. Talent acquisition and retention as well as happiness at work and co-worker efficiency are contributing factors to the strength of an organization that is positively impacted by supporting a hybrid enterprise fleet. Which implies that all organization now needs to be able to work equally with iOS, Android, macOS, Windows, ChromeOS and Linux.

A lot of our competitors consider it impossible to manage six platforms correctly. And they are somehow right. The way they envision MDM capabilities makes it almost impossible for them to support the 6 legitimate platforms currently on the market. Because most of them consider the MDM feature as a low-level system where you need an IT expert to wisely configure a different set of settings via some configuration profile and custom scripts.

For Bravas, this is not the way to go, and this difference is key to understanding how to interact with Bravas as a product and as a vendor.

Our product is built by thinking about functional needs. We consider that no one cares about manually configuring all available payloads to require the device's passcodes on iOS, Android, macOS, Windows, ChromeOS and Linux. We consider that what people actually need is a way to enforce a corporate policy saying that smartphones and tablets are required to have a 6-digit passcode and computers with a 12-sign alphanumeric passcode, and all of them should be blocked after 5 false tries.

This is the key point to understand about Bravas: we do not provide a low-level mass management solution like most of our competitors do, we provide a mass management solution that focuses on business operational needs and workflow.
